Hornsby & District Branch

Welcome to The Hornsby & District Branch

Located at the southern most point of the Northumberland Group, but the Northern most point of Sydney suburbs, the Hornsby & District Branch encompasses the best of both worlds. By embracing and functioning in a busy metropolitan hub which brings many nationalities and cultures together whilst still retaining the natural beauty of the surrounding national parks and bushland, our members are faced with a very diverse membership base.

Sharing and teaching new skills to ladies who have never had the opportunity to engage in this type of activity previously, whilst still being fully involved in the community in which we are based, is a win win for all members. Our branch participates in all things CWA has to offer together with many community events.

Regular Meetups

2nd and 4th Friday, 9.30am

Regular meetings are held at the St Peters Church Hall 207 Peats Ferry Rd Hornsby on the second and fourth Friday each month at 9.30am.

Catering is a large fundraising component which enables us to support many needy causes, both regionally and nationally. Drought Relief Fundraising has been a large focus of the branch with money also being channelled into medical research projects.

Local chats on community radio helps to keep the public informed with what we have happening.

We are about friendship, community and connection. Why not join us today?

Join Masterchef Julie Goodwin on Zoom and learn some great cake making tips as she makes her Mothers Day special Lemon Diva Cupcakes

Dear CWA of NSW members and friends Hornsby Branch have been lucky enough to secure a Zoom session with the Master Chef herself, Mrs Julie Goodwin!

Julie will be sharing her famous ‘Lemon Diva Cupcakes’ recipe and have a fun and informal chat with 50 lucky Zoom participants on Thursday, 7 May, 2020 at 10.00 a.m.

Julie would like to support our CWA of NSW Disaster Relief Fund, so we ask that you make a donation. Please contact for information on this.

We hope to raise at least $250.00 on Julies behalf, so for just $5.00 you can join in the fun. First in, best dressed!

Please register with Hornsby Branch President, Ros Hopwood @ roshopwood@optusnet.com.au, send through a copy of your donation receipt and Ros will send the link to this session and Julie’s recipe to you ASAP..

( Having the recipe, you could bake and taste before Zoom meeting. If any queries who better than to ask Julie herself on Zoom. )

Held on the 4th Friday of the month, the Coffee, Craft and Chat  morning is an informal gathering offering a wonderful chance for skills to be shared, friendships cultivated and coffee to be consumed. Come on in and say Hi.
