Hornsby & District Branch

Welcome to The Hornsby & District Branch

Located at the southern most point of the Northumberland Group, but the Northern most point of Sydney suburbs, the Hornsby & District Branch encompasses the best of both worlds. By embracing and functioning in a busy metropolitan hub which brings many nationalities and cultures together whilst still retaining the natural beauty of the surrounding national parks and bushland, our members are faced with a very diverse membership base.

Sharing and teaching new skills to ladies who have never had the opportunity to engage in this type of activity previously, whilst still being fully involved in the community in which we are based, is a win win for all members. Our branch participates in all things CWA has to offer together with many community events.

Regular Meetups

2nd and 4th Friday, 9.30am

Regular meetings are held at the St Peters Church Hall 207 Peats Ferry Rd Hornsby on the second and fourth Friday each month at 9.30am.

Catering is a large fundraising component which enables us to support many needy causes, both regionally and nationally. Drought Relief Fundraising has been a large focus of the branch with money also being channelled into medical research projects.

Local chats on community radio helps to keep the public informed with what we have happening.

We are about friendship, community and connection. Why not join us today?

Upcoming Events

Final day of filming for the Northumberland Group promotional video was at Hornsby Branch. The fantastic members bake and prepare boxes of delicious morsels which were then distributed to the amazing front line staff at Hornsby Hospital as a recognition and heartfelt thanks for their dedication to keeping the community safe. Well done Hornsby members.

A delightful note from a man who loved the Peach Jam he purchased.
What a lovely compliment! So glad you enjoyed the Jam! We are so lucky to be able to use mainly local produce in our jam making….these beautiful peaches were grown in Dural! And donated by a lovely member of our community! Yum!
Be sure to head up to Berowra Markets on Saturday December 11th at Berowra Old District Hall 9am-3pm. In addition to preserves, baked goods, craft and plants we will be serving devonshire teas and as a treat for the children Santa will be visiting from 10am-12noon.
