Welcome to Gwandalan Branch
Located on a peninsula extending northwards into Lake Macquarie, Gwandalan is part of the Central Coast of NSW. The name Gwandalan is derived from the Aboriginal for restful place, and being on the shores of Lake Macquarie you can enjoy activities such as swimming, kayaking and fishing. Gwandalan lives up to its laid back, restful name. Gwandalan is located near the Northern most area of the Northumberland Group.
Here at the Gwandalan Branch, sharing and teaching new skills to ladies who have never had the opportunity to engage in this type of activity before, while still being fully involved in the community in which we are based, is a win/win for all members. We consider Friendship and support for one another the main strength of our Branch, and if we were asked what the members of our branch were good at, we would have to say we have some amazing cooks, some amazing handcrafters, and we are very successful at fundraising which allows us to support many organisations.
