We have regular fund-raising activities at each Branch where there are opportunities to make, bake, sell or donate.
Our fundraising efforts allow us to support local and large-scale causes, as well as support our main aim, which is advocating to the government, either State or Federal, to improve conditions for women in the Country or City, their families and Communities. .
CWA of NSW has a rich history of advocating for Women & Children & the Community. For over 100 years we’ve been a voice of positive change and continue to make an impact on the lives of others through voting on policies which are then taken to the government where we advocate to get them included into the government agenda, or to have legislation passed to make change.
Who is CWA of NSW:
We are an active community of women who, together, improve the lives of people living in regional, metropolitan and rural New South Wales.
We are mums, grandmothers, single or married; we are women employed in the home or the workforce; we are just like you.
We are renowned for our great home cooks and handicrafts – but CWA of NSW is so much more than that. It’s about friendship; about community; it’s about connection.
