The goods produced by these activities are donated to various organisations both in Wyong shire and further afield – sometimes even for overseas charities.

The CWA organisation has an international programme where we study one country in depth each year. We have involved the local school in this programme and together we share information and endeavour to further our knowledge and understanding of other cultures.

We also take an active interest in our environment and study a particular agricultural product each year. In this connection we have an active Waterwatch group and test the water quality in Lake Macquarie regularly.

A small group meets on Friday mornings and produces some magnificent machine embroidery. Members take a keen interest in baking – swapping recipes, tasting and entering competitions.
